Who we are

Sellcurb is a service that helps people sell household items by generating Craigslist listings and managing buyer communications on their behalf using AI. Sellcurb is operated by [TBD entity] in the United States. [COUNSEL REVIEW]

Information we collect

Account information

When you create a Sellcurb account, we collect your email address, phone number, name, and payment method. Payment card details are processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); Sellcurb does not store your card number.

Listing information

When you create a listing, we collect the photos you upload, the item details you provide through the listing wizard, your pickup location preferences, and pricing information (including a private floor price that is never shown to buyers).

Communication content

• Buyer emails— messages from prospective buyers received through Craigslist's email relay, and AI-generated responses we send on your behalf. Inbound buyer emails are archived in raw form (including headers, subject, and body) for audit, dispute resolution, and AI quality review.

Usage data

We collect logs of actions taken in the Sellcurb app, AI decisions and outcomes, service-health telemetry, and funnel events (e.g., time between buyer inquiry and AI reply).

How we use your information

• To operate and provide the Sellcurb service.
• To process your $4 listing fee via Stripe.
• To send transactional email notifications to you about your listings and buyer inquiries.
• To operate the AI concierge on your behalf. This includes sending listing details, photos, and buyer messages to our AI provider (Anthropic) for classification, drafting, and response generation.
• To improve the service, including prompt tuning, AI quality evaluation, and replay-based regression testing.

Third-party service providers

Sellcurb shares data only with the service providers needed to operate. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

Communications with buyers

When a buyer emails your Craigslist listing, the message is routed through Craigslist's email relay to a Sellcurb-specific address we assign to your listing. Our AI processes the message and either responds autonomously for low-stakes categories (questions, lowball offers, spam) or queues a draft for your in-app approval for high-stakes actions (price commitments, scheduling, address disclosure).

Outbound emails to buyers include a disclosure that they are handled by an AI concierge on behalf of the seller.

Buyer privacy.A buyer's real email address and phone number are only ever shared with the seller of the listing they contacted, and only after meaningful engagement (e.g., an agreement to meet for pickup). Sellcurb never shows a buyer's real email or phone to anyone other than that seller. All Sellcurb-to-buyer correspondence uses a per-listing relay address that does not reveal the seller's real email either.

How long we keep your information

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data by emailing support@sellcurb.com. We will respond within 30 days.

• Data export — receive a machine-readable archive of your account, listings, and buyer email threads.
• Account deletion — your account, listings, and communication content are deleted within 30 days, subject to any retention required for legal or fraud-prevention reasons (in which case the data is access-restricted, not actively used).

California and EU residents have specific statutory rights (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR) that we will honor to the extent required by applicable law. [COUNSEL REVIEW]

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses HTTP-only session cookies issued by Supabase Auth. We do not share your real email address with buyers; all buyer communications route through an anonymized Sellcurb email address assigned per listing.

Children

Sellcurb is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be announced via email.
